| BECAUSE LEAVING HOME CHANGE EVERYONE |
Support for students and parents navigating the transition to college, university, and life abroad.
|THE TRANSITION NOBODY TALKS ABOUT
Most families prepare for applications, housing, travel, and paperwork.
Few prepare for the emotional transition that follows.
The Leaving Room was created to support students as they leave home—and parents as they learn to let go.

STUDENTS WHO ARE:
& PARENTS NAVIGATING THE TRANSITION ALONGSIDE THEM.
•WHY THE LEAVING ROOM
Because the hardest part is often not the departure.
It's what happens after.
The first empty bedroom.
The first difficult phone call.
The first week when everything feels unfamiliar.
The Leaving Room offers a calm, structured approach to one of life's most significant transitions.
•ABOUT
Hi, I'm Nathalie.
After experiencing major life transitions myself and supporting families through international moves, I became fascinated by a question:
Why do we prepare so carefully for the logistics of leaving, but so little for the emotional transition that follows?
The Leaving Room was created to help students and parents navigate that space with greater confidence, clarity, and connection.
